Jazzing up a lame wedding tradition

I am not really a big fan of wedding traditions, I must admit, especially the ‘Cutting of the Cake’ – there is a big build up to it, the guests are all gathered to witness the event, the couple march in,  stand next to the cake then cut into it and look as if to say: “Is that it?”.  I think we should copy the Americans, they have a better and more fun take on it. The newlyweds feed each other cake after cutting it – well this can be done in a polite way so that they do not get their outfits dirty, or they might just really go for it and rub it all over each others faces. I found some brilliant examples on the WPJA’s website. So from now on CandySnaps will be promoting ‘Cake Smooshing’ (as it’s apparently called) and I’m hoping there are a few brave Brides out there who would like to try it! Have your cake and smoosh it, I’d say!
