Hello and Welcome

Hello and Welcome to the CandySnaps Weddings blog,

Finally, finally I can keep you all up to date with what is happening in Candysnaps world.

I have been thinking long and hard about this first post. How to start? So let me first of all introduce myself. My name is Caroline and I am the photographer behind CandySnaps Weddings based in bonny Glasgow, Scotland. I am originally from a small villlage in the south of Germany but have lived in Britain for 12 years now. First London then Brighton where I studied Editorial Photography. I then moved to Glasgow 4 years ago, (or is it 5?)… (oh how time flies)… and have set up CandySnaps Weddings. I photograph many a great weddings every year which I like to share with you right here!

This year was especially fantastic because of one particular wedding – my very own.

So I thought for my very first blog entry, let me share with you my very own wedding! I think that every wedding is unique and very personal. I believe that you can get a sense of what a bride is like by seeing her wedding photos. The little details, the dress, the cake etc… you get to know her a little. What she likes, what’s important to her…

And I believe that it is of utmost importance that you like the person that photographs your wedding. That you ‘click’ with them and they know what you are all about and you know what they are all about. It will make you feel relaxed in front of the camera and you are safe in the knowledge that your photographer knows what you expect from your wedding photos.

So, this is me!

Wedding Photography Scotland | An engagement in Paris - [...] which inspired my engagement in Paris shoot which I was invited along to by my friend fellow and own wedding photographer Christophe [...]

Wedding Photography Blog | Anita & Chris part 2 - [...] Sorry to keep you waiting folks but I am literally snowed under… If like me you’re frozen, part 2 of Anita and Chris’s lovely wedding might make you feel a bit warm inside… Editing this o’rama has definitely warmed my cockles! Anita arrived at the venue, the gorgeous Oran Mor on Saturday, and her and Chris had a ‘first look’ at each other at the Botanic Gardens across the road prior to the ceremony and we managed to get some lovely shots! I think it’s obvious how in love and excited they are to shortly be saying ‘I do’. To my delight their ceremony was conducted by Alastair Douglas, my very own Humanist wedding celebrant. Check out my very own wedding on the blog here! [...]

christina - oh, caroline…wunderschön hast du ausgesehen!

Ashley - of course it’s absolutely gorgeous :) :)
