Oh my god! I just came across the probably coolest proposal ever! Derick Childress is a talented photographer from Raleigh, North Carolina. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend Emily in a creative way and need I say he did just that. Over the course of three nights taking 800 individual (each 10 second exposures) shots he spelled out in light the words “Emily, will you marry me?”

The video shows the process of how he accomplished it and his website describes the painstaking steps he took each day to create the image.

Now guys – I have a big crush – not just on my handsome hubby but on a company called BIRD AND BANNER! Bird and Banner are Erin and Nicole, both graphic designers, who founded Bird and Banner in 2006 because as brides-to-be they were excited by the seemingly endless possibilities of expressing their personality and style in every detail. ( Sounds like my kind of Bride). They feel that each couple has a unique story to tell of how they fell for each other. Drum rolls…. Ladies and Gentlemen, and now for the final part of Amy & Mikey’s wonderful wedding bash! The speeches, the yummy cup cakes from my favourite Cake Shop The Little Cake Parlour in Glasgow and of course the dancing. Amy changed her veil for a stunning headpiece made by William Chambers – I will later on blog about his new Bridal range, which is just stunningly beautiful and makes me wish I could get married again tomorrow!
